KINGDOM HEARTS HD 1.5 REMIX BOSSES PATCH
Square Enix will have to work fast to patch these problems in the game prior to its release in North America shortly, but fans aren't holding out hope - many are pointing to the bugs from the PS3 version making it into the PS4 edition as evidence that change won't be coming to the remastered collection this late. While Square Enix is inevitably hoping that Kingdom Hearts 1.5 & 2.5 HD ReMIX will help generate interest in the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 3, this many issues at launch could accidentally do the opposite. That kind of error is egregious, considering that the PS3 versions have been out for over four and three years respectively - there's no reason these bugs shouldn't have been corrected by now. Beyond the documented glitches and errors, the Reddit thread also notes that a number of major issues that were present in the PS3 version of the remaster still persist now. Unless players are in the habit of saving an absurd amount, these save crashes will inevitably cost them a sizeable chunk of playing time, although thankfully no one has reported corrupted save files as a result of the glitch just yet.įor a game that Square Enix was willing to produce special editions for, there appears to be an uncharacteristically large number of oversights plaguing Kingdom Hearts 1.5 & 2.5 HD ReMIX at this time. Apparently, there is a glitch that at this time is believed to occur randomly, causing gamers attempting to create or overwrite a save file to suddenly have their game crash. While that alone could just be considered a reasonable trade for the increased graphical efficiency and drastically decreased loading times, an even bigger issue has emerged related to Kingdom Hearts 1.5 & 2.5 HD ReMIX's save files. "A lot of the issues are caused by the shift to 60 fps, which messes up the physics in KH1 and 2, causing certain bosses to behave strangely, with one being almost potentially broken."

The news that something might be wrong with Kingdom Hearts 1.5 & 2.5 HD ReMIX first broke in a large Reddit thread started late yesterday night, as Japanese gamers who have gotten their hands on the game have been reporting that the switch to 60 fps is causing some major issues for gameplay. Kingdom Hearts 1.5 & 2.5 HD ReMIX is already out in Japan, and early feedback seems to indicate a game that has some serious issues plaguing it. While previous indications, including a gorgeous Kingdom Hearts 1.5 & 2.5 HD ReMIX gameplay video that showcased its heavily revamped graphics, have suggested that this remastering would be a worthwhile purchase, evidence emerged today that might have fans thinking otherwise. Kingdom Hearts 1.5 & 2.5 HD ReMIX might not be a brand new title, but its release is heavily anticipated by fans of Disney and Square Enix's bizarre yet beloved action RPG series.
